According to GDA officials, this work will help the pedestrians coming to Shaheednagar, Rajbagh, Rajendra Nagar, Shyam Park, and Mohannagar station. There will be no fear of road accidents. This drain was constructed only last year. Its length is about 5.40 kilometers. Integrated foot overbridges are built at these stations, so that not only metro passengers can easily cross the road. This will also make the journey of passengers safe.
Three places will be complete drain
Prior to the construction of the pavement, the drainage work of three drains will be completed. GDA officials said that due to inauguration of the red line of the metro from Dilshad Garden to Shaheed Sthal New Bus Adda, the construction work of the drain near three stations was stopped at the request of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. Now that work will be done.
Significantly, thousands of people travel during the metro running on normal days. In such a situation, pedestrians have to face many problems. To reach the metro stations, passengers have to walk on the road, so there is a possibility of many accidents.
