Ghaziabad: Husband Wife Committed Suicide

On Saturday, the autopsy of the body of a husband and wife found hanging in a separate room in a flat in Gyankhand of Indirapuram in Ghaziabad district was conducted by a panel of two doctors on Saturday.

Death by hanging in the post-mortem has been confirmed. The police investigation has revealed that both of them committed suicide in a family feud. Both were cremated at Hindon crematorium on Saturday evening. 

The families of Nikhil and Pallavi reached Ghaziabad on Saturday morning. Then in the afternoon, a panel of two doctors performed the autopsy of both bodies.

According to the police, the post-mortem report confirmed both deaths due to hanging. According to the report, the woman herself tried to cut the vein of her hand. Police investigation so far has revealed that Nikhil first committed suicide. 

Investigations have revealed that both of them committed suicide in a family dispute. CO Indirapuram Anshu Jain said that the post-mortem report said death from hanging.

The police have not received any complaints from family members. In the evening, the bodies of both were handed over to the relatives. The family cremated both of them at Hindon crematorium at around 6 pm.  

Let us tell you that on Friday, the dead body of husband and wife was found hanging in a flat in Gyankhand-1, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. A nine-month-old baby was found playing on the floor nearby.

The woman sent a message to her sister at about quarter to four in the morning and told her to be alone at the nine-month-old son’s house. Seeing the message, the sister sent her friend on the spot and the incident was discovered. 

Originally a resident of Patna, Nikhil Kumar (31) lived with wife Pallavi Bhushan (28) on the second floor of plot number 328 of Gyankhand-I of Indirapuram. They have married two years ago.

They both have a nine-month-old son. Nikhil was employed as a sales manager in a private company in Noida. According to police, Pallavi’s sister Anjali, a resident of Greater Noida, received three messages on WhatsApp. It was written in the message, ‘Babu is alone at home by six o’clock in the morning.’

Anjali sent one of her friends to the house located at Gyankhand-1 on suspicion of untowardness, and her senses flew away. Pallavi’s body was hung on the fan in the hall and the nine-month-old child was playing on the floor.

Hearing the screams of the woman, the neighbors arrived and informed the police. When the police investigated, Nikhil’s body was also found hanging in the second room. Police had sent both the bodies for postmortem.
