The trade organization has also intensified the campaign to adopt Swadeshi. The Confederation of All India Traders has appealed to all traders to boycott China-made rakhi on Rakshabandhan altogether.
With this, China is set to lose Rs 4 thousand crores. Confederation General Secretary Pravin Khandelwal has said that this year’s Rakhi is to be celebrated indigenous throughout the country.

He said that Rakhi and Rakhi items manufactured in China will not be used. To encourage the troops stationed at the borders of the country, the Confederation’s Women’s Wing will give 5000 Rakhis to the Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh for these soldiers.
Women wing will also tie rakhi to soldiers recruited in military hospitals in every city of the country. Policemen will also tie indigenously built Rakhi women wing.
Four thousand crore rupees are traded with China
On Rakhi, on the festival of Rakhi, there is a trade of six thousand crore rupees. China’s share alone in this is about four thousand crores.
Rakhi making items including foam, paper foil, rakhi thread, pearls, drops, decorative items above the rakhi are imported from China.
