First EV charging station started in East Delhi, 4 cars can be charged simultaneously, pre-booking facility also available.
Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia inaugurated East Delhi’s first electric vehicle charging station in Patparganj in collaboration with power company BSES on Saturday to reduce pollution caused by petrol and diesel vehicles.
On this occasion, Manish Sisodia said that the biggest problem facing electric car buyers is where and how they will charge their car. To overcome this problem, the first e-charging station in East Delhi has been started today. Here 4 vehicles can be charged simultaneously in 45-90 minutes.
Sisodia said that by pre-booking through the app, electric vehicle (EV) drivers will be able to automatically charge the vehicle in 45-90 minutes. This charging station will be able to charge 4 vehicles at a time. E-charging stations will now be replaced by petrol pumps. This is a big step to make Delhi pollution-free.
