Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal inaugurates new 450-bed hospital built in Burari

A new 450-bed COVID Special Hospital has started in Burari, Delhi. Only Corona patients will be treated in this. On Saturday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated the hospital through video conferencing. This hospital equipped with modern facilities will be provided with 250 more beds.

On the inauguration, the Chief Minister said that at present, Burari Hospital is being started with 450 beds. However, 700 beds will be provided here. 450 beds are now added to treat COVID patients.

This will help Delhi residents greatly in treatment and in the coming time, this hospital will serve the people around. Oxygen has been provided on every third bed here. Along with this, oxygen will be supplied from cylinders on 125 beds.

Kejriwal said that with the cooperation of doctors, paramedical staff, the Center and the Delhi government have succeeded in controlling the corona, but have not yet won. 

Corona cases have come down and mortality has come down since the last one month, while the recovery rate has increased and infection rate has also come down below 10%. This has happened due to everyone’s hard work.

For this, he congratulates all the doctors, paramedical staff, officers. A month ago, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia visited the hospital to take stock of the progress of the work. 

Kejriwal had given instructions to complete the construction work of the hospital soon. In view of the transition, 450 beds have been started here at present.
