CCTV to be set up in all hospitals in Delhi, help desk to be set up, Kejriwal government orders

Orders have been given to install CCTV cameras in all wards in all hospitals of Delhi. Delhi government has issued this order.

Delhi Government has issued instructions for hospitals based on the order of the Supreme Court for the care of corona patients in different hospitals of other states including Delhi.

According to the order of the Kejriwal government, all Corona Dedicated Hospitals in Delhi have been asked to ensure that CCTV cameras are installed in all wards of the hospital with immediate effect.

For this, the PWD has been directed to immediately cooperate with the management of the hospital so that the hospital ward can find out the need related to proper care of the admitted patients and transparency in the patient care can be taken.

All Covid Dedicated Hospitals have also been instructed to ensure that the CCTV camera footage can be made available to all the investigating teams / supervising teams of experts or the authority concerned with the Union Ministry of Health.

All COVID Dedicated Hospitals should allow an attendant (who is willing to do so on his own) with the patient to stay in a designated area in the hospital premises.

All COVID Dedicated Hospitals should create a help desk, where anyone can go and get information about the hospitalized patient by telephone.

All hospitals have been ordered to follow these instructions strictly. If it is not complied with, action will be taken against the hospital concerned without any further notice.

Significantly, the Supreme Court ordered the installation of CCTV cameras in Corona dedicated hospitals. Along with this, he was also asked to make a help desk in every hospital.
